How do I get to Aila Homestay Resort?
Your journey to Aila Homestay Resort will most likely begin at Panglao Bohol International Airport. we are happy to help organize airport and seaport transfers.

Do I need to rent a car during my stay?
The nearest town (Tagbilaran) is 10km away. Most people book day trips organized through our tour guide, however, if you would like to adventure out on your own then we recommend hiring a car or renting a tricycle or motorcycle.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in time is 1 pm and check-out time is 11 am. Please email us at info@ailahomestay.com if earlier and/or later times are preferable – we would love to accommodate you in any way possible and will try our best to meet your needs.

Do you have a minimum night stay?
Yes, we have a 2 two-night minimum stay for all rooms.

Do you have quiet times?
Yes, out of consideration for all guests we have quiet times between 10 pm – 8 am Monday through Sunday. Please note that this time can be extended at any time out of consideration for other guests.

Do you have an onsite restaurant?
At this time we do not have an onsite restaurant. However, we will offer services to order food or we will go to the local market to buy food for you to cook.

How do I do food shopping?
You can do your food shopping at Panglao Market or Tagbilaran like BQ mall or ICM mall. We do offer a service that we can do your food shopping for you with a shopping list. The service offers to have them delivered to your room.

Do you provide a custom-stocked fridge, pantry, and bar service?
No! We will send you a list of food and beverages with the respective prices and service delivery charge, so you can have your kitchen and bar stocked with your selected groceries and drinks upon arrival.

Can I drink the water from the tap Aila Homestay Resort?
NO! The tap water quality in The Panglao Bohol District is considered not drinkable (tap water is only used for washing and bathing), we have purified water dispensers for drinking in every room for safe pure drinking water.

Is there Wi-Fi? Does it always work?
Yes, in each room we provide a High-speed router and the communal area offers high-speed fiber-optic Wi-Fi access. There may be times when there are power outages that are beyond our control, and then there may be a signal disruption but we do have a standby generator for these times.

Will I have phone service?
That will depend on your phone carrier as we are in a remote area we cannot guarantee your phone service will work here. However, there is high-speed Wi-Fi in all rooms and phone signals are strong here at the resort from Globe and Pldt.

Are there bugs?
Yes but mostly the place is free of bugs, being in a tropical place, there is the possibility you will have bugs. We do allow natural bug spray to be brought onto the Resort.

Can I bring family members’ children and/or friends that are minors (under the age of 18) with me?
Yes! As long as you have documentation showing that you have permission to travel with the minor. This can be done through a notarized/certified document from the parents.

What is the weather like?
The one thing you can almost be certain about in Panglao Bohol is experiencing rain at some point during your trip. Throughout the year there are wonderfully gorgeous and sunny days, especially in summer. During winter, there is a lot of rain. We highly recommend you check the weather forecast and average temperatures for the time you will be visiting.

Do I need a plug adaptor?
It depends on where you are traveling from. We offer round power sockets type C (standard Euro plug) and L (USA 3 prong origin). The standard voltage here in Bohol is 220V and the standard frequency is 60HZ. If you do not have compatible plugs, you will need an international adaptor for the plug and voltage. We can supply this for you.

Do you have a laundry service?
Yes! We have a laundry service. Please inquire with the manager.

Am I allowed to bring my pet?
No, unfortunately at this time we do not have facilities to accommodate any pets.

Do you have housekeeping?
YES! housekeeping will be facilitated throughout your stay to make sure you have everything you need.

May we smoke inside?
No. Smoking is not permitted inside any rooms. A cleaning fee is charged if this is not respected. We further ask that you respect non-smokers and step away from communal events and areas to smoke.

Do you offer childcare?
NO, we do NOT offer childcare. However, during your stay here, a parent needs to remain in the area for the safety of the children AT ALL TIMES! We will not be responsible for accidents that occur.
This transfers the responsibility of the child onto the assigned parent/adult. Parents should be aware that children need to be supervised at all times during their stay here.
